Second Thoughts on AI
In my last post, I said that I was using AI to create "tailor-made" software for me with ease. But I'm not sure that is the case anymore. Even if the project is correct and it does when I wanted it to, it doesn't really reflect the way I would do some design decisions. So, I'm not sure if I can really call it "tailor-made".
I feel like I vibe-coded it too much, and by doing so, the code ended up being too generic. It also robbed me of the opportunity to get better hands-on experience with Go (I fully understand the code, but I think I should be trying things out for myself), and getting a better sense of achievement would be nice.
So, in the future, I will probably depend less on AI, at least for learning or for hobby projects.
